I had the same experience as others -- I ordered three sets. Two of the three bottom sheets shredded within a very short period of time. I love how the sheets feel and I love the deep fitted bottom. I was going to order new bottom sheets, thinking that maybe my dry scratchy feet had caused the problem. But seeing the other reviews convinces me that it would be putting good money after bad. So sorry!

This is a fabulous sheet. I bought a fitted and a flat sheet, and they are beautiful. They wash well, and came out of the dryer soft and unwrinkled. I love them.

I bought this sheet in March. I've used it on my bed maybe three times. I washed and dried it according to instructions. It's thinned and tearing.

I bought it to replace another Wamsutta bottom sheet. I thought the other reviewers who had problems must not have followed directions or something. No, these sheets are just terribly made. They have no durability at all. The threads dissolve in water or something.

Forty Plus dollars is pretty expensive for a disposable sheet.

I wonder if Amazon is getting counterfeits from their supplier. Wamsutta used to make great stuff.

Or maybe Wamsutta sent their manufacturing to China.

Update 10/10/2011. I contacted Wamsutta using their website more than three weeks ago. I have received absolutely no response, except the automated reply stating that they received my message. Not only are these sheets terrible quality, Wamsutta does not care about its customers at all. I'm going to try LL Bean. They stand behind their stuff.
